Erica Cerra (born October 31 1979) is an Canadian actor best known for her portrayal of deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy series Eureka. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian descent. When she was eight years old, she became enamored with acting. She appeared in a variety of commercials on television. Following a time her career took a break from performing. When she was 22, at age 22, she returned. Cerra was ranked among Vancouver's top five actresses of the future according to Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine in 2005. Cerra has starred as deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka. This Syfy show aired by Syfy between 2007 and 2012. Cerra also appeared on the Michael Buble video Save the Last Dance for Me in 2006. Cerra's credits include leading roles in a variety of critically and wildly recognized television shows such as Battlestar Galactica. She has also appeared in major film releases such as Man About Town with Ben Affleck and Rebecca Romijn and Blade:Trinity with Wesley Snipes. Cerras appearance and body were employed as models for the character of Ashley Williams in the Mass Effect series of video games. She also had guest-starring parts for her character in Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff and Dead Like Me. Other shows she has appeared on include Cold Squad and the monster-hunting series Special Unit 2, and The Collector. Cerra married Raffaele Fiore in November 2010.
Khondabi mentioned that she been married Joey Scribner Howard, her sweetheart from high school who works as a mechanical engineer in the energy utility industry. Khondabi and Joey had been friends since they first met at Greenwood Christian School. The pair began to date during their senior year of high-school. Howard was a student who transferred to Irmo to Dutch Fork High School and finished his studies at Dutch Fork, was a close friend of Khondabi. They then began dating. Khondabi was a graduate of Emerald High School, graduating in 2007 and also of The University of South Carolina where she earned a degree with broadcast journalism. She also studied entertainment management and sports. Joey was also an alumna of USC. Liam the dog they have as a pet is the sole furry member of the family. Khondabi said she believes that Joey and her are both foodies. One of her favorites from back home is the onion rings she ate in the Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi has stated that she is a curious person. As an elementary student, I conducted educational interviews that were broadcast on the news channel of our school and I also was responsible for reading out daily school headlines. In the days of (then) Oakland Elementary our newscast was titled WOAK. Khondabi stated that her first major job as a TV news reporter came after graduation from college. The station was WAGT which was in Augusta Georgia. Khondabi told me she was on the news for six years. In Augusta the following Augusta I started working as a reporter in the morning at WOWK Charleston West Virginia, and in Columbus Ohio worked as morning news host as well as traffic at local ABC and FOX affiliate stations.
